Quick Fat Loss |
Protein helps maintain and build fat burning muscle while also reducing hunger. If you drastically reduce fats then you'll limit your body's ability to process food and nutrients which is critical to fat loss. The key is to choose a diet with the right proteins, carbohydrates and fats in balance since not all protein, carbohydrates and fats are created equal.
Does the diet increase or decrease your metabolic rate? If you want to lose fat then you need a diet that increases your metabolic rate. Many people make the mistake of confusing losing weight with losing fat. Muscle takes more energy for your body to maintain than fat does. Muscle, on the other hand, does require energy and your body provides it with that energy by burning calories. The more lean muscle you have on your body the more calories it will take to maintain it.
Obviously the more calories your body burns the easier it is going to be for you to lose fat quickly.
Those large muscle groups take a lot of calories to maintain.
Along with exercise you should eat a diet geared toward losing fat rather than losing weight. Most diets that are designed just for weight loss don't provide your body with enough calories.
